What we discussed...

We did not have very much opportunity in class to have book talks.  Being one of the only two graduate students, I had a different book than the rest of the class so the only other student to discuss the book with was Clarke.  We had two discussions.  The first was the day we went to the park, which I don't remember, and the second was at Andrea Christine's.  We met here with Vicki Bruno to go over sign language and stayed to go over our book.  We discussed how words can be so important.  If a teacher can get students to love the idea of words, then maybe the students will love to read.  This is especially important with ESL students because they need to learn the individual words in order to learn the whole language.
